Bake Parlor Macaroni Fusilli
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni fusilli according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
3. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder; stir until well combined into a paste.
4. In another medium bowl, combine 2 cups half-and-half or light cream with 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese; mix until blended together completely and set aside as well.
5. Grease an 8”x8” baking dish with butter or cooking spray; pour in the macaroni fusilli and spread evenly across the bottom of the dish in one layer; top it off with the paste mixture followed by the cream mixture over top of it all evenly across as well for even baking throughout each bite of pasta!
6 Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top and bubbly around edges; let cool slightly before serving warm! Enjoy!
